2010 PDK
Prospective Educator Scholarship Recipient

Kaitlyn Wilhoit is this year’s recipient of the Tokyo Chapter 1530 PDK Prospective Educator Scholarship. The Nile C. Kinnick High School senior plans to attend Lubbock Christian University (Texas) in the Fall to pursue a degree in education. Kaitlyn said “As an educator, I want to assist students in achieving their greatest potential. Every student has the ability to grow and learn; they simply need to be given the opportunity…By nurturing and providing them with the tools they need, I hope to be able to set them on the path to future success." After she completes her college education, Kaitlyn would like to become an educator with DoDEA. Congratulations to Kaitlyn! We wish her great success in the years to come.
